Travel unlimitedly on U-OV buses and trams throughout the province of Utrecht. You choose a central zone, and from there you can travel in all directions for the number of zones covered by the stars you have purchased in your subscription. Travel as often as you like.

The subscription is linked to your personal OV-chipkaart. The price depends on your age and the number of zones you need.

• You travel with a monthly subscription.

• This subscription is not compatible with NS Flex or Businesscard on the same OV-chipkaart.
• Please note: Select the correct center zone when purchasing your pass.

Please note: The OV-chipkaart is being discontinued. After all these years, the technology is outdated and due for replacement. Therefore, the sale of OV-chipkaart subscriptions, such as the U-OV Sterabonnement, will also stop at the end of 2026. We are switching to OVpay. This involves checking in and out with the new OV-pas or your debit card. With this, you can travel anywhere in the Netherlands by train, bus, tram, and metro. In the same way you are used to: hold the card against the card reader and you're done! The OV-pas and the debit card will succeed the OV-chipkaart. Read more about OVpay.

With this, you never pay too much for any of your journeys with U-OV.

• Travel with your debit or credit card.
• Never pay more than €100 per month (young people aged 12-18 never pay more than €65 per month).
• Travel less? Then you pay less.

In the summer of 2026, U-OV Maand Max will also be available on the new OV-pas.
